What is a DOT drug test?
A drug test issued under the Department of Transportation (DOT) is required for all employees who must perform safety-sensitive tasks on a daily basis. Motor vehicle carriers, pilots, construction workers, couriers, etc. must all comply with periodic drug screening.
What do they test for in a DOT drug test?
Approved DOT drug tests contain 5 panels which test for:
- Amphetamines (AMP/mAMP)
- Cocaine (COC)
- Marijuana (THC)
- Opiates (OPI)
- Phencyclidine (PCP)

How long does it take for drug test results?
Once the collection site receives a urine sample, please allow 2-3 business days for the laboratory to perform a confirmation test and another 2-3 days to receive your test results.
