Erik has an innate ability to steer sales. He has over 18 years of expertise building disruptive teams and generating wealth for startup and Fortune 50+ organizations alike. His sales IQ has led to a number of successful acquisitions, and his current focus is to increase the profitability of Confirm BioSciences.



After graduating from Brigham University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science and Minor in Business Management, Erik began his journey as a Sales Representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. During his time with the pharma giant, Erik gained a firm understanding of both patient and provider needs, helping him navigate a complex healthcare system.

Erik moved on to Co-found Remedy Informatics, where he managed to quickly secure funding to help scale the organization. As the leader of sales and marketing, Erik led the growth efforts of Remedy, leading to the company’s acquisition by Merck.

Erik has a sharpened sense of identifying internal weaknesses and opportunities in a short amount of time. As the Chief Growth Officer for different consulting groups recognized by Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000, he was involved in yet another acquisition as a result of his revolutionary sale strategies.

In 2013, Erik became the Vice President of Sales for Tiger Text, where he led the sales of a proprietary secure texting platform which quadrupled annual sales. This sales growth led to the eventual series C round of $50M.

After a few years, Erik revisited his origins in the healthcare industry and began working with Arista MD and COI Pharmaceuticals as the Chief Revenue Officer of the company. In just one year, Erik set the sales structure and foundation which led the company to its eventual A and B rounds. He has a sharp understanding of what makes a business profitable, and with his expertise, he has been able to garner a tremendous amount of venture capitalist money to help organizations scale across different industries.

Erik is a fundamental cog in Confirm BioSciences’ arsenal. He is tasked with restructuring the sales team and pivoting the company for success.

When Erik isn’t working, he and family can be found participating in extracurricular nonprofit initiatives in the community. Or, you can find him on the field coaching his 3 kids to victory.
